Mary Edna Dabrowiak, 79, of Kingston Springs, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Friday September 19, 2025, surrounded by her family.
She was the beloved wife of Don Dabrowiak for 61 years, and together they raised four amazing children -John Dabrowiak (Leslie) Nashville, Tennessee, Sue Wade (Bill) Burns, Tennessee, Nancy Reefer (John) New York, NY, and Mike Dabrowiak (Lisa) Kingston Springs, Tennessee.
She was also the proud grandmother of seven grandchildren- William Austin Wade, Aubrey Nicole Jones, Landon John Wade, John Lars Dabrowiak, Michael Bennett Dabrowiak, Sutton Chambers Dabrowiak, and Joseph Ames Dabrowiak.
All who brought her endless joy.
Caring for others was her calling. As a nurse, she devoted her career to high-risk obstetrics, and later worked as a nurse practitioner in fetal surgery research. During her career she impacted the lives of countless mothers, babies, and families. Her dedication and compassion was immeasurable, and she expressed the same deep care into her own home, where her family always came first.
Her faith carried her through her life, including her final battle, which she faced with courage and grace.
She leaves behind a family who adores her, and a legacy of love, strength, and selflessness. She made us who we are, and we will miss her every day.
Until we meet again, Mom, we love you big.
Private service to be held with immediate family.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Alive Hospice, Nashville Tennessee.

Mary was a wonderful person. She was beautiful inside and out, and made me so proud to call her my sister. I miss her more than I can describe.

Uncle Donny and the Dabrowiak family,
We extend our deepest sympathy for the loss of Aunt Mary. There are now lasting memories for every of you and the families that have been impacted by her selfless work. May God bless each of you doing this difficult time. Lucy, Mark, and Ethan Dale
God looked around His garden, and found an empty place. He then looked down upon the earth, and saw your tired face. He put His arms around you, and lifted you to rest; God’s garden must be beautiful. He always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering. He knew you were in pain. He knew that you would never get well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough, and the hills were hard to climb; so He closed your weary eyelids and whispered, “peace be thine.” It broke our hears to lose you, but you didn’t go alone; for part of use went with you, the day God called you home.
We will all miss you. Love, your Sister-in-law, Frances (Dabrowiak) Rinehart.
