Memorial services will be Saturday April 27, 2019 at 11 AM from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Aaron Terlecki officiating. Visitation with the family will be Saturday April 27th from 9 AM until time of service.
Mrs. Mary Etta Cowan Boone, age 93 of Dickson, TN died Wednesday April 24, 2019. Born in Dickson, TN she was the daughter of the late James Maxwell and Lelah Whitted Cowan and was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Boone. Mary was a graduate of the Ward-Belmont College and Peabody College of Education. She started her teaching career as an English teacher and later became an Art teacher. She was a member of the Burns Baptist Church.
Survivors include her nephews, James Cowan, Jr., Benny Clayburn Cowan; cousins, Francis Anderson of Dickson, TN, Martha Cowan Hoke of Florida, Rebecca Bullion of Nashville, TN; step-daughter, Rebecca Rumbaugh Grohman of Florida; step-sons, Allen Rumbaugh (Pam) of Jamestown, TN, Preston Rumbaugh (Kim) of Memphis, TN, Aaron Rumbaugh of Florida.
