Funeral services will be Wednesday August 7, 2024 at 2 PM from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Craig officiating. Place of rest will be in the Redden Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday August 6th from 4 to 8 PM and on Wednesday from 10 AM until time of service.
Mary Ruth Petty Donegan, age 92 of Dickson, TN passed away Thursday August 1, 2024. Born in Hickman County, she was the daughter of the late James Austin and Mettie Lorene Petty and was preceded in death by her husband, James Daniel Donegan; her sisters, Imogene Anderson, Barbara Dunn, and Kathleen Dunn; her brothers, Donnie Petty and James Petty. She worked as a Dietary Aide at Horizon Medical Center and was a member of the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Marty Donegan of Dickson, TN; daughter, Debbie Perry of Dickson, TN; brother, Bobby Petty (Virginia) of Dickson, TN; 2 grandchildren, Jenna Donegan of Dickson, TN, Amy Anderson (Willie) of Burns, TN; 3 great grandchildren, Emma, Luke, and Noah Anderson; several nieces and nephews.
