Funeral services for Mattie Loriene Dotson, age 90 of Dickson, and formerly of Louisville, KY will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2014 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Edgewood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4 until 8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until time of service. Mrs. Dotson died Monday at her home.
A native of Dickson County, Loriene was the daughter of the late Walker and Susie Field Stuart. A homemaker, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Ezra Dotson. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Raymond H. (Brenda) Dotson and David S. (Denise) Dotson, Dickson; one brother, Denny Stuart, McEwen, TN; three grandchildren, Ann Marie Dotson, Travis Ray (Elizabeth) Dotson, and Nathan Stuart Dotson; three great-grandchildren, June Ann Dotson, Blake West Vance, and Ryan Ray Dotson; several nieces and nephews.
