Melvin Clark Gilmer, age 74 of Murfreesboro, TN formerly of Dickson, TN passed away Tuesday November 4, 2025. His wishes were to be cremated, and his ashes will be buried at Union Cemetery at a later date.
Born in Dickson, TN he was the son of the late Charles Edward “Chick” and Mildred Ruth Tummins Gilmer and he was preceded in death by his wife, Myra Evelyn Isbell Gilmer. Melvin worked in the Automotive Industry.
Survivors include his sons, Matthew Leland Gilmer, Ian Zachary Gilmer, Edward Martin Gilmer, and Charles Thomas Gilmer; brother, Mike Gilmer; 6 grandchildren.
