Michael Lynn Story Sr. – Age 61 passed away August 31, 2016.
Visitation with the family will be on Friday, September 2, 2016 from 4-8 pm at Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 10 am on Saturday, September 3, 2016 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Aaron Terlecki officiating. Burial will follow in Freudenthal Cemetery in Charlotte.
Mr. Story was preceded in death by his father, James Martin Story and nephew, Kevin Story. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Joyce Barnett Story; mother, Betty Jo Story; children, Michael Story Jr., Mark Taylor (Jamie), Marty Taylor, Marcia Campbell Thomas (Billy) and Melissa Walters (Jamie); grandchildren, Brandon Gossett (Crystal), Casey Campbell, John Manley, Chris Manley, Brooke Taylor, Austin Taylor, Caitlyn Story, Chloe Story, Dakota Taylor, Moses Taylor, Alicia Julian (James) and Billie Ray Taylor; great grandchildren, Bailey Gossett, Ezra Gossett, Sophia Manley and Connor Julian; brothers, Larry Story (Sandra) Loui Story an Jackie Story (Delores); several nieces and nephews; and good friends, Donnie Kernoski and Mike “Chick” Burgess.
Mr. Story was a member of Burns Baptist Church. He served on the former Burns Volunteer Fire Department in the late 1980’s into the 1990’s. Mr. Story was a heavy machine operator with Sessions paving Company for over 30 years.
