JoAnn Tucker, age 82 of Dickson, TN died on September 9, 2017. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2017 from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. A funeral service is scheduled for Monday, September 11, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Taylor Funeral Home with Ricky Chappell officiating. Place of rest will be in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Tucker was born April 6, 1935 in Knoxville, TN. She was a daughter of the late Julius and Virginia Donaldson Franklin. Before a decline in her health, she had attended services at the United Freewill Baptist Church and served as a secretary at the United Christian Academy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas William Tucker; her grandson, Brian Keith Duke; six sisters, and one brother.
She is survived by her Daughter, Rhonda Daniel (Kevin) of Dickson, TN; her sons, Tony Tucker (Debbie) of Dickson, TN, Don Tucker (Twyla) of Dickson, TN, Jamie Tucker (Lea) of Dickson, TN; her sister, Audrey Williams of Michigan; 9 grandchildren, Valerie, Brad, Shawn, Toni, Donielle, Tarrah, Tiffany, Jayme Lea, and Tyler; 16 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
