Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2018 from 10am until 8pm. During visitation, military funeral honors will be performed at 4pm from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home. In honor of Mr. Dale Cranfield and in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charty of your choice
Owen Dale Cranfield – Age 70 of Bon Aqua, TN passed away on June 18, 2018 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville.
Mr. Cranfield was born in Humphreys County on August 29, 1947 to the late Sam and Mary Edwards Cranfield. He is also preceded in death by son, Jared Redden; siblings, Judy Harrington, Jimmy Cranfield and Edward Cranfield.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Lee Redden Cranfield; daughters, Lori Cranfield, of Nunnelly and Jayla Cranfield of Bon Aqua; Sons, Jeffrey Cranfield (Tammy) and Christopher Cranfield; siblings, William “W.D.” Cranfield (Tiny) of White Bluff, Carylon Johnson of Sylvia, Anita Lewis of Charlotte, Mickey Cranfield of White Bluff, Bobbie Harrington (Jimmy) of Sylvia, Sammy Cranfield (Laurie) of Dickson and Robin Redman (Kevin); 7 grandchildren, Cole, Wesley, Loran, Brandon, Sarah, Sabrina and Opal Christy; 2 great grandchildren, Adelyn and Caden, and a third greatgrandchild, Kevin due in July.
Mr. Cranfield served his country in the United States Army and fought in Vietnam. He was a very hard worker and longtime employee of Jim Campbell as a heavy machine operator. A lover of traveling, he enjoyed deep sea fishing and Casinos. He had an infectious smile and laughed all the time. He never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with anyone. He was a great father, husband and wonderful friend.
