Funeral services for Mrs. Patricia J. “Marlene” Proctor, age 78 of Joelton will be conducted Friday morning, Nov. 8, 2013 at 9:30 AM from Anderson and Garret Funeral Home in Joelton, Tn with Jerry Steele giving her eulogy. Visitation will be Thur. Nov. 7, 2013 beginning at 3 PM until 7 PM. Place of rest will be in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Services under the direction of the Taylor Funeral Home.
Marlene died Nov. 6, 2013 at the Golden Living Center in Springfield, Tn after a brief illness. Born in England and was raised by the late Roland and Ida Jobling. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Clayton W. Proctor. Having met in England while Clayton was serving in the U. S. Air Force. They were a military family for 31 years. Marlene was a member of the Scottsboro United Methodist Church. One of her greatest loves was her four legged companion, Susie.
Survivors include her friends and neighbors, who were her family.
