Pearl Gentry Johnson, age 100 of Burns, TN died on November 26, 2015. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 29, 2015 at the Taylor Funeral Home from 2pm until 6pm. A funeral service is scheduled for Monday, November 30, 2015 at 11am at the Burns Church of Christ with Matthew Hiett officiating. Visitation at the church from 10am until time of service. Place of rest will be in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Burns Church of Christ Building Fund.
Pearl was born August 6, 1915 in Dickson County, TN. She was a daughter of the late Oscar Clarence Gentry and Cilla Bissinger Gentry. She had attended services at the Burns Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Johnson; sisters, Eddie Willey, Dorothy Thomas, and Louise Gentry.
She is survived by her foster daughter, Rebecca “Becky” Jean Sanker Fulkerson of Crossville, TN; nephews, Kirk Thomas, Eric (Tammy) Thomas, Mark (Sue) Willey; niece, Marla Thomas (Ernie) Johnson.
