Rebecca Sue Stockman, age 81 of Vanleer, TN died on Monday, January 5, 2026. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, January 9, 2026 at the Taylor Funeral Home.
Rebecca was born on January 30, 1944, in Dickson, TN. She was a daughter of the late Jack and Alline Hamilton McClurkan. Rebecca was a simple lady and was easily content. She enjoyed yard sale shopping and the thrill of a good find. She was blessed with a singing voice, and in her younger years, she had the honor of singing with some gospel groups. Rebecca loved her family and loved being in their presence. She had endured the hurt from losing a child with the death of her daughter. She missed her very much.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Wilton Williams; her second husband, Donald Wayne Stockman; her daughter, Crystal Stockman; and a brother, Harold Wayne McClurkan.
Rebecca is survived by 4 children, Tammy Darlene Williams, Shelly Manor (Ed), James Michael “Pete” Williams, and Angela Dawn Hill; brother, James McClurkan; sister, Barbara Evans; 10 grandchildren, Kristin Holt (Brandon), Jackie Baker (Dana), Joe Manor (Brandy), J.D. Manor, Austin Williams, Michael Williams (Jessica), Lucas Parker (Jennifer), Katlyn Cornell (Michael), Rylee Hill, Harper Hill; 14 great grandchildren, Kendall Baker, Easton Baker, Eli Manor, Emmarie Manor, Paxton Manor, Ember Waller, Everett Waller, Lydia Waller, Levi Parker, Kenzley Bissinger, Kyzer Holt, Oakley Cornell, Owen Cornell, and Oliver Cornell. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
