Richard Darrell Jared, age 62, of Dickson, TN, passed away on October 25, 2022.
He was born in Humphreys County on March 27, 1960, to the late Oriville Napolean Jared and Vinnie Lee Speight Jared. Richard retired from Dart Transportation, after spending many years on the road as an independent truck driver. He was always a great dad and loved his church family. He served in various roles as a member of Empowered Ministries; always willing to help with outreach in the community.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother; Sam Jared, sister; Darlene Jared, and grandchild; Kevin Morris.
Survivors include his daughters; Amanda Jamison (LJ), Trista Rickard (Tommy), sister; Connie Linen, grandchildren; Haley Rickard, Michael Rickard, Gavin Jared, Alexis Crafton, Nathan Rickard, Clay Crafton, great-grandchild; Paisley Moss, nephew Gerome Linen and others, niece; Alicia Avery and others, special friends; Betty, Kasey, and his Empowered Ministries Church Family.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Jennette officiating. Visitation with the family will take place on Friday, October 28, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. There will be a repass following the memorial service at Empowered Ministries, 119 W. Christi Dr., Dickson.
