A memorial service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday, November 29, 2015 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Matthew Hiett officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2 until 4. For those desiring, memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
Rilla Darlene Walp, age 65 of Dickson, died Monday, November 23, 2015 at St. Thomas West. Born in Dickson, Rilla was the daughter of the late Samuel T. and Margaret McWilliams Walp. She was a 1969 graduate of Dickson High School and retired from Horizon Medical Center as a switchboard operator and registration clerk. She was a member of Burns Church of Christ.
Survivors include her brother, Anthony C. Walp, Burns; two nieces, Tabitha Walp and Wendy Walp; and a great-nephew, Dayton Bates.
