Funeral services will be Sunday February 15, 2026 at 2 PM from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Dr. Jimmy Overton Eulogist. Place of rest will be in the Worley Furnace Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Sunday February 15th from 1 PM until time of service.
Robert Henry “Dag” Sanders, age 83 of Dickson, TN passed away Monday January 26, 2026 in Hickman County. Born in Dickson County on May 7, 1942 he was the son of the late William R.T. and Clara Nash Sanders and was preceded in death by his sisters, Gertie Peacock, Pamela Sanders, Lillie Mae Mays and Allie Holt; his brothers, Elbert Sanders and Cecil Sanders. He was a graduate of Hampton High School and loved sports. He had worked at Ohio State University Hospital for several years. He was a very private person. Robert loved being outdoors, planting his garden and also taking care of his fur babies. He was a coin collector and loved old cars. He accepted Christ at an early age at Worley Furnace Baptist Church.
He is survived by his sister, Eunice Hereford (Amos) of Nashville, TN; brother, Gene Sanders (Ruby) of Dickson, TN; aunt, Roberta Burns of Nashville, TN; son, Vaughn Ronnell Sanders Ewans; daughters, Faith Adalynn Ewans; Pam Sanders (Stacey); grandchildren, Blayne Ronnell Ewans, Marcus Jones, Alysia Jones, Dylan Herbst, Joshua Davis and Jalesia Davis; host of great grandchildren and nieces and nephews; special devoted friend, Cheyl Dixon and other friends that helped him along the way in Hickman County.
