Funeral services for Mr. Robert Ross Evans Sr., age 78 of Dickson will be conducted Saturday July 28, 2012 at 1 P.M. from the Worley Furnace Missionary Baptist Church officiated by Pastor Tony Ward. Place of rest is in the Worley Furnace Cemetery. Robert died Wednesday July 25, 2012 at N.H.C. Health Care Center in Dickson. A native of Dickson County he was the son of the late Orange and Pearl Guinn Evans. He was also preceded in death by his wife Flora Evans and his daughter Freida Evans. Robert retired from the facing department of the Aquarius Industries. He was a longtime Deacon for the Worley Furnace Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his two sons, Robert Evans Jr. of Dickson, TN; Cordell Evans and wife Christine of Dickson, TN; one brother, Larry Evans and wife Lucille of Dickson, TN; one sister, Georgia Springer of Dickson; two grandchildren, Erica Evans and Blake Evans; several nieces and nephews.
