Roger Dale Nesbitt

Memorial services will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026, at 4PM, from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Bro. Matthew Hiatt will officiate. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2PM until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to TN City Fire & Rescue or American Cancer Society.

Roger Dale Nesbitt, age 77, of Dickson, TN, passed away on March 25, 2026.

Roger was born on June 19, 1948, in Dickson, TN, to the late Aud Ernest Nesbitt and Myrtle McElhiney Nesbitt. Roger had worked for years in construction as a sheet metal worker. He enjoyed watching sports, especially Vanderbilt Football and Baseball. He also liked to do Word search puzzles.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kay Denise Brown Nesbitt, his brother, Ernest Nesbitt (Betty Jo Nesbitt), sister, Mary Ruth Tarlecki (John Tarkecki), brother-in-law, Coy R. Simmons, Sister-in-law, Jill Nesbitt, nephews, Stanley Tarlecki, Clifford Simmons, and Coy Simmons.

Survivors include his children, Jason Nesbitt, Roger Nesbitt, Chad Nesbitt, brother, Johnny Nesbitt, and sister Anne Simmons.
