Funeral mass for Mrs. Ruth Dickey Mahoney of Dickson, TN was Monday, April 1, 2013 at 10 AM from St. Chrisopher’s Catholic Church with Father Mathew Perumpally officiating. Place of rest is in the Williams Addition of the Dickson Union Cemetery. Mrs. Mahoney, homemaker, died March 27, 2013 at the Alive Hospice Residence in Nashville after a brief illness. Born in Punxatawney, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Minta Morrison Dickey. She was a parishioner of the St. Christopher’s Catholic Church.
She was the widow of the late John Stephen Mahoney and was preceded in death by two grandsons; John and Joseph and Two Sisters and One Brother. Survivors include Her Son; John S. Mahoney and wife, Elizabeth of Knoxville,Tn and Her Daughter; Kathy Simmons of Dickson,Tn Her Five Grandchildren and Her Five Great Grandchildren.
