A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Taylor Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 26, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Taylor Funeral Home. Shannon’s remains will be cremated following the service.
Shannon was born May 9, 1968 in Dickson, TN. He was a graduate of the Dickson County High School. He was a Veteran, having served his Country in the U.S. Navy during Operation Desert Storm. Shannon was an avid golfer; he loved the game. He was a Vols fan, Go Big Orange! He was a good friend, a proud grandfather, and loved by many.
Shannon O’Neil Choate, age 52 of Dickson, TN died on March 22, 2021 in Nashville, TN.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Margaret Ann Hooper Choate; and his nephew, Andrew Lee Choate.
Shannon is survived by his father, Roger O’Neil Choate; his son, Jason O’Neil Choate; brothers, Barry Davis and Lee Choate; his sister, Lisa Pate; grandson, Austin O’Neil Choate; nephews, Matthew Choate and Cole Pate.
