May God keep you and comfort you and your family in your time of bereavement.
I know Shawn because my brother Jeb Beasley was good friends with Shawn’s brother, Shray, during childhood and high school years. My mother, Wendy Beasley, always liked and respected Rochelle, Shawn’s mother, because of her clear devotion to her children. Rochelle and Wendy cheered on their boys together throughout the years. I remember my mom thought Rochelle was a good example to follow- supporting her kids at all their events. And then when I was a student at MTSU, Shawn was a student- a big deal at MTSU, where he had found a supportive community and had become a leader. Every time I ran into him on campus, he remembered our brothers were friends. He was always warm and friendly to me and whoever I was with, and treated me with respectful courtesy. I was sad to hear of his passing. I wish his family prayers of peace and all the very best.
Brother. Friend. My listening ear. You Shawn were all of that to me!! To the Family I have a special place for all of you in my heart. You’re in my prayers and thoughts. Love you.
Heartfelt prayers & condolences to the Family, saddened by your loss.
Even though I was not lucky enough to teach Shawn at DCHS, it was obvious to me that this student was genuine and a blessing to those who were fortunate to be in his circle. I’m so sorry for his loss, but the Paradise that he is going to will be breathtaking for him.

Rochelle and Family, you all are in my heart and Prayers ! Shawn was a sweetheart, always manner-able and kind . He and I sung in the Renaissance choir once upon a time during a Christmas holiday season and he was sombodies Tenor ! I know that because of your Faith that “you do not grieve as those who have no hope “,we also believe that when CHRIST returns we will rise to meet HIM after those Believers who are asleep rise first.
Ms. Roschelle I’m so sorry for the loss of your son. I will continue to keep you and your family in my prayers.

Nephew I’m at a loss for words I’m gonna miss our music sessions and our love for music. All I know is Jesus needed you there with him more than we needed you here. This is so hard my big baby. Even though you may not have felt it you were loved by so many nephew the people at the nursing home are still talking about your visits and how you brought them joy and laughter. I’m truly deeply gonna miss you. Like I told you in our last conversation out of all my family members I knew that you loved me and nobody else did not even my kids I love you Shawn
