Sonja Lee Sobr, age 65, of Dickson, TN, passed away on January 13, 2025, at St. Thomas West. A memorial service, celebrating her life, will be held at a later date.
Sonja was born on October 14, 1959, in Nashville, TN to the late Paul T. Whitlow and Joyce Ann Gregory Lawson.
After graduating high school, Sonja went on to college, where she received her associate’s degree. Sonja had worked as a beautician but mainly was a homemaker throughout her life. She loved animals and was always feeding the deer and birds. Spending time at the beach was one of her favorite things to do.
She is survived by her husband, William John Sobr of Dickson, TN, her mother, Joyce Ann Lawson of Dickson, TN, her brother, Trent (Bonnie) Whitlow of Troutman, NC, her sister, Laurie (Randy) Walker of California, MD, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
