Starla Dawn Courtney Nelson, age 59 of White Bluff died Thursday August 9, 2012 at her home in White Bluff. She was cremated and there are no funeral services planned at this time. Starla, a collection agent, died early Thursday August 9, 2012 at her home in White Bluff. A native of Oakland, California, she was the daughter of the late Clair Courtney.
Survivors include her daughter, Teresa Norfleet-McGill of White Bluff, TN; son, Bill Downer and wife Jessica of Palmyra, TN; mother, Lodane Craig of Cunningham, TN; brother, Craig Courtney of Cunningham, TN; sisters, Robin Steuer of Val Paraisio, IN; Chapel Pack of Erin, TN; five grandchildren, Wyatt Downer; Alexander McGill; Jerry McGill; Asia McGill; Azria McGill; several nieces and nephews.
