Mr. Sterling ‘Sam’ Jones, age 85 of Bon Aqua, born Jan. 5, 1927, died March 11, 2012. He is preceded in death by his Wife of 59 years, Alma Daugherty Jones; Parents, Robert and Lillian Jones; Brothers, Ed and Gene Jones. He was a welder for State Industries for 33 years. He is survived by his Daughter, Shirley (Wallace) Hudgins; Son, James (Carolyn) Jones; 2 Brothers, Harlon Jones, Willard (Sue) Jones; 3 Grandchildren, Stephanie (Rich) Wangler, Brian (Kelly) Jones, Tonya Jones; 7 Great Grandchildren, Justin Wangler, Will Wangler, Alisha Jones, Austin Jones, Elliott Jones, Blake Gillette, Hunter Gillette. A funeral service for Mr. Jones was held on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Taylor Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Hudgins Cemetery in Fairview, TN.
