Steven “Rex” Cathey, age 54 of White Bluff, TN died on Saturday, July 3, 2021.
Steven was born December 3, 1966 in Dickson, TN. He was a construction worker and had worked for Deal Construction. Earlier in life he had worked for Interstate Packaging, and Spann Sawmill. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed family, friends, living life and telling stories. He will be missed by many, but never forgotten.
He was preceded in death by his father, JC Cathey; his grandparents, Grover Cathey, Mable Cathey, Albert Deason, and Edna Deason.
Steven Cathey is survived by his mother, Nancy Cathey; his sister, Helen Cathey; nephew, Joseph Cook; niece, Kayla Winkles; great nieces, Jorja Winkles, Malaysia Triggs, Deja Triggs; great nephew, Amari Triggs; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 11:30 AM at the Williams Cemetery in White Bluff with Rusty Deason officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 5, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
