Passed away Tuesday May 26, 2015. Born in Vineland, NJ she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Kathryn Schlitz Hewitt. Susan had worked as a Registered Nurse and after she retired from nursing she was a volunteer with Caris Hospice. Susan was very artistic and had an angelic singing voice and loved writing songs. Her friends would describe her as being Intelligent, Beautiful and having a wonderful sense of humor and she also had a great love for animals.
Susan’s wishes were to be cremated with a memorial service at a later date.
Survivors include her husband, Hollie Farris of Dickson; brother, Joe Hewitt of Trenton, NJ; sister, Kathryn Hewitt of Florida; 2 nieces and 2 nephews; her four legged friends, Dee Dee, Peanut, Max, Sadie and Kassie
