Memorial services will be Sunday July 16, 2017 at 4 PM from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Dr. Richard Shriver officiating. Visitation with the family will be Sunday July 16th from 2 PM until time of service.
Mrs. Susan S. Maynard, age 69 of Bon Aqua, TN died Thursday July 13, 2017. Born in Dayton, OH she was the daughter of Betty Jean Wilson Smith of Bon Aqua, TN and the late Douglas R. Smith. Susan was a retired Teacher and had taught at East Hickman Elementary and Middle School and also at Stuart Burns Elementary. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years, James “Jim” Maynard of Bon Aqua, TN; sons, John Maynard of Nashville, TN, Peter J. Smith of Bon Aqua, TN; mother, Betty Jean Smith of Bon Aqua, TN; brothers, Doug R. Smith, Jr. of Bon Aqua, TN, Mark Smith of Bon Aqua, TN; nephews, Chris Smith of Louisville, KY, Daniel Smith of Bon Aqua, TN.
