Tami McGee-Brundage

Date of Death

Date of Service

(7/6/1970 – 6/4/2021)

With much sadness, we announce that Tami gained her angel wings on Friday, June 4, 2021 after a long battle with Huntington’s Disease. Although this terrible disease took so much from our precious mom/daughter/sister/friend, it never dimmer her bright smile and love for her family and friends. Tami will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Tami was born on July 6, 1970, the daughter of Tom and Linda McGee of Burns, TN. She was preceded in death by her dad, Tom McGee, on December 28, 2020. In addition to her mother, Tami is survived by her children: Joshua Kindle Brundage and McKenzi Lee Brundage, both of Rochester Hills, MI; her sister Kimberly McGee Sellers (Jamie) of Burns, TN who devoted years of love and dedication to caring for Tami; nieces Reagan and Demi Lynn Sellers and nephew Thomas Dale Sellers.

Originally from Michigan, Tami excelled in high school as a star swimmer; still holding many pool records and later graduated Summa Cum Laude from Northwood University. She worked for many years in management for Chrysler Financial Corp. Tami spent the last ten years living in Burns, Tennessee with her loving family.

Tami’s long and courageous fight battling HD was an inspiration to so many facing the same obstacles. Despite her disability many of her loves never waned: spa days with her sister, chocolate martinis, but more than anything the love and adoration for her two children, Josh and Kenzi.

A Celebration of Life honoring Tami will be held in Michigan at a later date. In lieu of flowers for those friends and loved ones wishing to express their sympathy, the family requests memorials sent to: Vanderbilt University Medical Center – Huntington’s Disease Clinic.
