Funeral services for Terry Victor Forrest, age 85, of Fairview, TN, will begin at 11 a.m. Monday, February 9, 2026, from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Dewayne Daugherty officiating. Interment will follow in the Hudgins Cemetery in Fairview. Visitation will be on Sunday from 4 until 8 p.m. and on Monday from 10 a.m. until service time. For those desiring, memorials are suggested to the Hudgins Cemetery Fund.
Born in White Bluff, TN, Terry was the son of the late Ernest D. Forrest, Sr. and the late Beulah Caldwell Forrest. A forklift operator, Terry retired from Porcelain Industries. He was a member of the Crossroads Church of God of Prophecy. In his younger days, Terry was an avid outdoorsman, especially hunting and fishing. He loved his church and he loved going to different churches to attend gospel singings. And Terry loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Louise Forrest, along with several siblings, Joan Pack, Patricia Murrell, Eddie Dale Forrest, and James Forrest.
Survivors include two sons, Scott Forrest (Kassy McGhee) of Dickson, and Eric Forrest (Marissa) of Fairview; his daughter-in-law, Melissa Forrest of Fairview; a brother, Ernest Forrest, Jr. of White Bluff; 4 grandchildren, Daniel Forrest, Erica Forrest, Jeremiah Forrest, and Zacharie Forrest; and his great grandchildren, Delilah, Greyson, Ryder, Videl, and Leilani.
