Funeral services will be Saturday September 1, 2018 at 1 PM from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Jeffery Norfleet Eulogist. Place of rest will be in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be Saturday September 1st from 11 AM until time of service.
Theresa Kay Oakley Blincoe, age 60 of Charlotte, TN died Saturday August 25, 2018. Born in Charlotte, TN she was the daughter of the late Oliver Washington and Ellen Bell Oakley and was preceded in death by her brothers, Oliver Washington Oakley, Jr. and William “Bill” Oakley and sister, Sheran Ann Oakley. Theresa worked and a Special Education Teacher’s Aide for the Dickson County School System and was a member of the McGavock Chapel AME Church.
Survivors include her son, Nicholas Oakley of Charlotte, TN, daughter, Kyra Oakley of Charlotte, TN; brothers, Clifford Oakley of Jacksonville, FL, C.J. Oakley of Dover, DE, Tracy Oakley of Memphis, TN; 3 grandchildren, Nicholas Aiden Oakley, Kinsley Ella Oakley, Kross Edward Oakley; several nieces and nephews.
