It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Thomas George Greene on
December 21, 2025, at the TriStar Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, TN, after a
courageous battle with cancer. Tom was born on September 16, 1964, in Watertown,
NY, one of six children to George and Dorothy (Kaminski) Greene.
After graduating from Immaculate Heart Central High School in Watertown, NY, Tom
followed in his father’s footsteps, working for Niagara Mohawk Power Company as a
heavy equipment operator for almost 30 years.
Throughout his life of 61 years, he touched many lives with his kindness and humor.
Despite many health challenges, Tom found joy in cooking for his family, Do-It-Yourself
projects, listening to classic rock, and driving his treasured cars. He was also a lifelong
Buffalo Bills fan. His greatest joy, though, came from his deep devotion to his family.
Tom is survived by his daughters, Carlie (Steven) Logan of Clarksville, TN, and Caroline
(Jason) King of Burns, TN, and their mother, Denice Draper Fisk, of Burns, TN. He was
a proud and loving ‘Papa’ to his grandchildren Kayleigh Logan, Colton King, Hayden
Logan, Easton King and Blake King. He is also survived by Lisa Smith Greene and her
children, Emily Pease and Joey Pease.
In addition to his parents, Tom was predeceased in death by his brother Mike Greene,
and one brother-in-law, J. Christopher Towne.
Tom’s surviving siblings include Patricia Towne of Theresa, NY, Ann (William Gilmore) of
Potsdam, NY, Sue (Jerry) Stacy of Lisbon, NY, Lawrence (Mary) Greene of Pulaski, NY,
and sister-in-law, Emma Greene of Hannawa Falls, NY, as well as a host of nieces and
Nephews.
Tom will be remembered by many extended family members and friends, who will
deeply miss him.
No funeral services have been scheduled at this time, although a private Celebration of
Life will be held at a later date. As we mourn Tom’s loss, we remember his warm hugs and celebrate the love he gave
so freely to his family and friends. In honor of Tom’s life, the family asks that you share a
moment of kindness with someone in need this Christmas season, Tom’s favorite
holiday.
