Thomas Milton Bennett, Sr., age 58, of Lyles, TN, passed from this life on May 13, 2024, at his home.
He was born in Nashville, TN, on August 14, 1965, to the late Fred Ausborn and Patricia Christine Warner Bennett. He bravely served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He also worked for several years as a land surveyor for Bennett and Sons Surveying.
Survivors include his loving wife of 29 years: Sabrina Dinges Bennett of Lyles; his children: Thomas Bennett, Jr. of Dickson, Justin Bennett of White Bluff, Anthony Bennett of Lyles, Christopher Dinges (Mary) of Ashland City, Samantha Bennett of White Bluff, Cheyenne Bennett of Centerville, Kayla Walton (David) of Ashland City and Corbin Bennett of Lyles; his siblings: Fred Bennett, Jr., George Bennett, Jimmy Bennett, Debbie McCree, Carol Donegan, Teresa Bennett, Juanita Baker, and Roseana Bronoski, Tommy Bell, Charlie, and Vickie; as well as eight grandchildren.
Mr. Bennett’s wishes were for cremation. A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the Middle TN State Veterans Cemetery in Pegram with Military Honors.
