Mr. Thomas Orian Williams, age 82 of Cumberland Furnace, TN died on June 27, 2024. A funeral service with Military Honors will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at the Taylor Funeral Home with Dr. Neil Spence officiating. The visitation will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment will be held at the Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
Thomas was born on November 7, 1941 in Jackson, MS. He was a son of the late Alfred Orian Williams and the late Oredus Dukes Williams. He was a Veteran, having proudly served his Country in the U.S. Navy. He had an Inventive mind, was a skilled guitarist, had a passion for all things history, and had performed as an actor. Thomas was a hard worker, and an entrepreneur. He developed, owned and operated numerous types of businesses. His greatest accomplishment was his family. He loved his family and was proud of his family. Thomas was definitely a family man, he was a great husband, father, and grandfather.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Hunt; and a granddaughter, Lauren.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Debra Williams; his children, Thomas Williams V (Heather), Kathleen Hinson (Derek), Travis Williams (Shelby), Hunter Harris Williams (Taylor), Orian Williams, Tommy Williams, Mark Williams, Kimberly Bond, Anthony Williams, Eric Williams, Russell Harris, Janet Bohannon, and Sheila Martin; his sister, Shirley Bruce; his grandchildren, Thomas, Wyatt, Charlotte, Emma, Katelyn, Landon, Axel, Addison, Jayden, Hunter, Jackson, Harper, Haisley, Hattie, Rhett, Taryn, Tyler, Noah, Christian, Madison, Gabriel, Mackenzie, Kadie, Zander, Bryce, Ashlyn, Kylie, Ethan, Ava, Kendall, Blake, Bryce, Rachel, Jordan, Haylee, Sadie; great grandchildren, Blakeley, Ronan, Arya, Brody, Bennett, and Molly.
