Timothy Wayne Marsh AKA “Huggie Bear” was born June 1, 1963 to the late Charles Gilbert Marsh (Brunt) and Mary Lou Marsh of Dickson, TN. Tim was 61 years old.
Tim graduated from Dickson County Senior High School, Class of 1981. He played Offensive and Defensive Tackle for the Dickson County Cougars under the leadership of Coach Charlie Daniels. Tim was a lifelong Dallas Cowboy Fan (How About Them Boys)
Tim owned a Lawn Care Business. He took pride in cutting and keeping all his customers’ lawns looking nice especially the lawn at Word of Life Tabernacle Church, where he faithfully attended and worshipped.
The year 2014 was pivotal in the transformation of Tim’s life after the death of his mother Mary Lou Marsh. He rededicated his life to the Lord and family became a part of his life mission. Tim helped, nurtured and cared for many family members and friends. Tim was always helping those down on their luck and less fortunate. He also believed in sharing his testimony of the goodness of God and bringing others to church to hear the good news. Tim drove the church van faithfully each week picking up men and women to bring to church. He will surely be missed by all that knew and loved him.

Tim leaves to cherish his memories: Siblings; Pastor Cecilia Grimsley, Treva Marsh, Mitchell Marsh, Mark Marsh all of Dickson, TN, Veronica Nunley (Nashville, TN), sister/cousin Belinda (Terrance) Ross Dickson, TN. Uncles; Mac (Irene) Adams, Wilbert Hogan, Robert Corlew. Aunts; Annette Yarbrough, Myrtle Pollard. Nephews; Brian Marsh, Michael (Sharika) Grimsley, Anthony Marsh. Nieces; Tiffany Leavell, Kendra Marsh, Kelsey Marsh, Tiffany Golden, Destiny Mays, Cydnee Robertson. Four great nephews, Five great nieces, Two great-great nieces and a host of cousins and lifelong friends.
