Tony Gilbert Litton, age 78 of Pegram, went Home to be with the Lord on March 25, 2026, at NHC at The Trace. A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Harpeth Baptist Church, 1011 Butterworth Rd. Kingston Springs, TN 37082. Bro. Chanc Strickland and Bro. Scotty Marcum will officiate. Visitation will take place on Tuesday from 12 noon until the time of service, also at the church. Interment with Military Honors will be held on Wednesday, April 1, at the Middle TN State Veterans Cemetery.
Tony was born in Nashville, TN, on August 23, 1947, to the late Walter Gilbert Litton and Lorene McCreary Roberts. He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War from 1966-1968. He worked and retired from the Belle Meade Police Department after 26 years of service.
He was a Christian man that was strong in his faith. He longed for the day to meet Jesus face to face. He was a faithful member of the Harpeth Baptist Church in Kingston Springs, TN.
He was preceded in death by his father: Walter Litton and stepmother: Edith Litton; his mother: Lorene Roberts and stepfather: John Roberts; his siblings: Maxine Judkins and Roger Dale Litton.
Survivors include his loving wife of 37 years: Treva Cagle Litton; his daughters: Tracy Dorning (Chad) and Jennifer Benson (Brent), both of Lawrenceburg; his brother: Jerry Litton of Nashville; 6 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
