Victor Eugene Stanley age 78, was born December 30, 1939 in Greeley Colorado. He died peacefully at home on July 14, 2018 with family by his side. His wishes were to be cremated.
He was a devoted husband and father. He married his wife, Julie in July of 1960 and had 2 children. Victor is survived by his wife, Julie Stanley, his son, John Stanley, his daughter, Angela Cannon, as well as 4 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Verne Stanley, mother, Ruth Stanley, his brother Don, and his sisters Mary Eleanor, Ruth Joann, and Margaret.
Victor grew up in Keota Colorado and moved to Tennessee in 2007. Victor was an honorably discharged veteran who had a passion for flying, hunting, fishing and woodwork. He was also a very talented engineer who loved to build things, including airplanes, guitars, guns to name a few. His family recalls there was always an airplane being built in the garage. He will be deeply missed in the hearts of his family, but he will never be forgotten.
