A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Thomas officiating. Place of rest will be in the Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2020 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Walter Jerome “Jerry” Crotts, age 80 of Dickson, TN died on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at the Horizon Medical Center.
Mr. Crotts was born on December 23, 1939 in Brownsville, TN. He was a son of the late Hubert Leon Crotts and the late Eva Christine Burgess Crotts. He retired from Houston Fearless 76, an equipment manufacturer for military contracts. Jerry worked as a mechanical engineer designing photograph equipment. He was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Dickson, TN. Jerry loved the Lord and he loved his church. He was always willing to help those in need.
He is survived by his loving wife, Susan Marie Crotts; his sons, Christopher Devon Crotts and Eric Taylor Crotts both of Texas; his brother, Larry Crotts of Nashville, TN; and several grandchildren.
