Funeral services for Willene Foriest Taylor, age 80 of White Bluff, will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 13, 2019 from Crossroads Church of God of Prophecy with Bro. Gary Riley and Willene’s nephew, Dennie Foriest officiating. Interment will follow in the Williams Cemetery in White Bluff. Visitation, also at the church will be on Monday from 4 until 8 p.m. and on Tuesday from noon until time of service. Willene died Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Horizon Medical Center.
Born in Dickson County, Tennessee, Willene was the daughter of the late Curtis and Maude Allbert Foriest. She had a place in her heart for children as evidenced in her occupation as a worker in Day Care. She also was a loving mother to her daughter and a loving sister to her siblings. Willene was a member of Crossroads Church and loved her “extended family” there. She was predeceased by her husband, Pat Taylor, her son, Wendell Taylor, and a brother, Lonnie Foriest.
Survivors include her daughter, Melissa Taylor, Dickson; her three sisters, Christine Parker, White Bluff, Peggy Harrell, Dickson, and Brenda Greer (Donnie), Kingston Springs; a sister-in-law, Linda Gray, Ashland City; several nieces and nephews.
