Funeral services for Mr. William Bryan ‘Bill’ George, age 93 of McEwen were conducted Saturday August 4, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Luff Bowen Chapel in McEwen with Bro. Tony Curtis officiating. Place of rest is in the Dickson Union Cemetery. Mr. George died Thursday August 2, 2012 at Three Rivers Hospital in Waverly. Born in Goodridge, TN in Hickman County he was the son of the late Carlos Walker and Mable Russell George and was preceded in death by his son and a sister. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator and a member of Operators’ Engineers #369. He attended the Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Lola Cannon George of McEwen, one daughter; two step-daughters; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
