Funeral services for Mr. William David Corlew age 57 of Charlotte were held Thursday, March 7, 2013 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Benessa Sweat officiating. Place of rest is in the Charlotte Cemetery. Mr. Corlew died Saturday March 2, 2013 at Horizon Medical Center. A native of Dickson County, he was the son of the late Tyree Roland and Emily Oakley Corlew.
He worked as a Utility Reel Operator for Quebecor Printing of Dickson and was a member of the McGavock Chapel AME Church in Charlotte. Survivors include his wife, Melissa Bell Corlew of Charlotte; brothers, Roland Corlew and his wife Peggy of Dickson, Scotty Corlew of Dickson; special friend, Alonzo Bowens of Charlotte; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
