Jonathan, known to many as “JB”, died on October 17, 2021 in Lyles, TN.
He was born on July 3, 1989 in Dickson, TN. JB was a jack of all trades but known most for his welding skills and for being a sawyer. Jonathan was an excellent mason as well and loved playing his guitar and riding his Harley. Above all, he was an amazing father.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Marrion Pewitt.
Jonathan is survived by his mother, Leslie Oliphant (Philip Caloggero); his children, Peyton Pewitt and Harlyn Pewitt; the mother of his children, Christina Rochelle and her family; his siblings, Mitchell Johnson, Lexi Capps, Aiden Capps, and Kaitlynn Pewitt; his grandfather, Martin Pewitt; a cousin who was like a brother, Nathan Fisher (Kayla); three nieces; two nephews; and several aunts and uncles.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 6:00 PM at the Taylor Funeral Home. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday from 2:00 PM until the time of service.
