Funeral services for LCDR (Retired) William Lee Walker were held Wednesday November 16, 2011 at 7:00 PM from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Place of rest is in Arlington National Cemetery. LCDR (Retired) William Lee Walker died Wednesday November 9, 2011 at Horizon Medical Center. Born in Memphis, TN he was the son of the late William Wesley and Kara Lee Durrough Walker. He was a retired U.S. Navy veteran and a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Morley Walker of Burns; children, Stephen Glen Walker of Utah, Theresa Lee Walker of Lyles, Melba Jean Griffith of Philadelphia, PA, Louis Garland Walker of Pennsylvania, Dana Kathleen Rutan of Virginia; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
