Mrs. Allbert, age 75, of White Bluff, TN died Sunday, May 19, 2019, at NHC of Dickson. She was born in Cheatham County and was the daughter of the late James Walter and Willie Mai Bell. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Walter Wayne Bell, Dalton O’Neal Bell, and Charles William (Pedro) Bell.
In the eyes of her family and friends, Marie was a sweet and kind lady that had lots of love for them. She cherished all the little children. She was known for her crock pot candy and made special deliveries. She would also deliver to snacks and homemade candy to Carl’s Perfect Pig.
Gardening was her passion. She loved spending time in her yard raising various kinds of flowers and plants. She took much pride in her yard. Another hobby that she enjoyed was genealogy. She spent many hours in cemeteries tracing back the history of family and friends. Marie also loved a good puzzle and always had one on the table putting it together.
Even though she and Raymond had no children of their own, they were not deprived of having loving children. They always had their nieces and nephews around them.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Raymond Allbert of White Bluff, TN; several nieces including Lorie Bell Rasmussen (Mike) and Dana Bell Moulton (Jamie); several nephews including Brooks Long and Brad Long (Sheena). Also surviving are many more nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephew.
