Born on July 16, 1953 near Yazoo City, Mississippi, Charles was the son of the late David Paul and Elizabeth Lowery Moore. A master electrician who owned his own business, C&M Electric, Charles had also previously worked extensively in the law enforcement field. He was formerly a jailer at Clarksdale, Mississippi, Chief of Police for the Lula, Mississippi Police Department, and Chief of Police for the Blue Mountain Police Department. He had also worked as Maintenance Director over the City Schools in Clarksdale, Mississippi. After coming to Dickson, he was maintenance foreman at NHC, Dickson, and currently was owner/master electrician of C&M Electric. Above all, Charles was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather and friend to the many people whose lives he touched. And he was a “die-hard” fan of Mississippi State. He was preceded by a sister, Margaret Kelly.
