Guy Spann, age 85, of White Bluff, TN passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at his home. He had been visited by family and friends in his final days, and he enjoyed all the visits and the love shown to him.
He was born November 8, 1936 to Coleman and Ruth Martin Spann, he lived all but six months of his life less than ¼ mile from where he was born. He was co-owner of Spann Brothers Lumber Company for 56 years where he worked as the sawyer. He was a member of and served as an elder at Chapel Hill Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his two brothers, Carl and Dennie.
Guy is survived by his wife of 65 years, Johnnie Hall Spann; his children, Kimberly (Steve) McDonough, Tim (Jennifer) Spann, Michael (Carolyn) Spann; his grandchildren, Linsey (Andy) Phillips, Lacey (Warren) Raburn, Brad (Courtney) McDonough, Mitchell Spann, Bonnie Spann, Kaytlyn Deland, Brooklyn Deland, Adalyn Spann, Micah Spann; his great-grandchildren, Jake and Audin Phillips, Thomas, Rebekah and Coraleigh Raburn, Hallie and Wesley McDonough; three sisters, Patsy Brown, Judy Griffin and Wanda Harris (Don); several nieces and nephews, many special friends.
