Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Daniel Cauthen officiating. Interment will follow in the Williams Cemetery in White Bluff, TN. Visitation with the family will take place on Wednesday, October 5th, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 12 noon until the time of service.
Mr. Thomas E. “Tom” Jackson, age 93, of White Bluff, passed away on October 2, 2022, at NHC of Dickson. He was born on July 5, 1929 in Dickson County to the late Herbert Freeman and Edith Willie Gill Jackson.
Tom proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1949-1953 and in the Air Force Reserve from 1953-1956. He was retired from Western Electric, having worked as an installer for over 28 years. Mr. Jackson was also a longtime member of the White Bluff Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife: Mary “Boots” Jackson; his second wife: Alda M. Jackson; his siblings: Collins Jackson, Elizabeth Willis and Dartha Bull.
Survivors include his son: James “Butch” Jackson (Karen) of Smyrna; his daughters: Linda Baker (James), Debbie Taylor (Ricky), and Laurie Parker, all of White Bluff; his brother: Jim Jackson of White Bluff; 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
