     Nadine Dixon McCrory Higgs passed away peacefully on January 23, 2023, just a few weeks before her 97th birthday. She was a resident of Lyles, Tennessee, and was of the United Methodist faith. She was born in Wayne County, Tennessee, February 11, 1926. She was a graduate of Wayne County High School class of 1945.
     Survivors include her husband, Bob Higgs, of Lyles; daughter Kennie Parker (Mike) of Franklin; son Ron (Linda) of Lyles; son Eddie of Honolulu, HI; sister Emma Stricklin of Waynesboro, grandchildren John Parker (Jennifer), Ellen Parker Brown (Trev), Shane McCrory (Regina), Josh McCrory (Lindsey), Lindsey Deal (Richard), Adrienne Holton (Luke) and Lauren McCrory. Great grand-children Zack and Eli McCrory, Elisabeth and Sarabeth Brown, Keilei and Kenslei McCrory, Kimbrel Deal, and Harper McCrory, and a hosts of nieces, nephews and extended family.
     Nadine was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Belle Dixon, husband Rev. Kenneth McCrory, sister Lola Jean Melton, brother Troy Dixon, grandson Dr. Jeffrey Parker.

     A memorial service will be held Saturday February 11, 2023 at 3:00 P.M. at the Shawnettee Church in Collinwood, TN. Visitattion will be Saturday February 11th from 2:00 P.M. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Mt. Hope United Methodist Church or Shawnettee Church or the charity of your choice.
