A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at the Taylor Funeral Home. Place of rest will be in the Nosegay Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
Mr. Winfrey was born on July 27, 1942 in Nashville, TN. He was a son of the late Albert Earl Winfrey and Lorene Lindsey Winfrey. Billy was a tough, hard-working man. He spent many years working as a logger. He also worked in construction, and he installed underground cables for BellSouth. He liked classic cars and enjoyed watching western shows and movies.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Christine Green Winfrey; and a sister, Pam Winfrey.
Mr. Winfrey is survived by his son, Kyle L. Winfrey (Melissa Ann) of White Bluff, TN; his daughter, Rebecca Kimbro of Dickson, TN; grandchild, Zack Dale Gray; his siblings, Brenda Schmittou of Vanleer, TN, Wanda Taylor (James) of White Bluff, TN, Danny Winfrey (Robin) of White Bluff, TN, Braxton Winfrey of Clarksville, TN, Joyce Lewis (Clay) of Dickson, TN, Kathleen Miller (Bill) of Kingston Springs, TN, Becky Swaw of White Bluff, TN, Peggy Osborne of Dickson, TN, Linda Foriest Gray of Ashland City, TN, and Mildred Sullivan of Ashland City, TN.
