Bill, a resident of Murfreesboro, died on May 6, 2023, at the age of 53.  In keeping with his wishes, there will be no viewing or formal service.  He will be cremated and buried at a private service in the family plot in Dickson Union Cemetery.  He was born at Dickson General Hospital on September 6, 1969, to Wayne and Jamey Weems McIntire.  He is survived by his parents of Burns; sister, Amanda Day McIntire of Bellevue; niece, Paige Foreman of Chicago; nephew, Tom Foreman of Smyrna, TN; and his best friend and significant other, Becky Griffin of Murfreesboro.

Bill was born with Spina Bifida, but wore his disability with dignity throughout his life.  As his family moved around the country in support of his father’s work, Bill was a pioneer in his own right.  He was the first wheelchair student in five different school systems before main-streaming was popular.  He graduated from MTSU with a degree in Mass Communications in 1993.

Those desiring, memorials are suggested to the Spina Bifida Association, 1600 Wilson Blvd Suite 800, Arlington, VA  Click HERE to give.

Bill was an expert in all things Marvel Universe and a die-hard Steelers fan having lived in Pittsburgh during a Super Bowl winning season.  Accordingly, two of his claims to fame were getting his picture made with Stan Lee and meeting Myron Cope, game announcer and originator of the Steeler Terrible Towel craze.  Bill fulfilled his creative dream by self-publishing a sci-fi novel, Under the Blue Rainbow.  Bill had a challenged, but fulfilled life, and will be missed by everyone he touched.
