Brenda Joyce Gordon White, age 82 of Waverly, TN passed away at home surrounded by friends and family after a long battle with cancer on Monday June 26, 2023. Her wishes were to be cremated and no services are planned at this time.
Born January 28,1941 in Huntsville, AL. She was the daughter of the làte Kelly Gordon and Juanita Dodson. Joyce retired from Southwestern Bell. She was in marketing and sales. Joyce was married twice, first to William Clyde Cowan whom she had 3 children with. She later married Jimmy Eugene White (Gene) and they shared a daughter. She loved her kids and was passionate about her animals. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gene, her two sons, William Kelly Cowan, Robert Douglas Cowan, two grandsons, Michael Douglas Cowan, Egon Zachary Cowan and her beloved granddaughter, Portia Marie Ellington.

Mariano, Jennifer N. Cowan, Corey D. White, Harlie Jane Hilton, Jonathan L. Chriswisser, Kellylynn S. Buhs, Juliana F. Eldridge, Kara H Eldridge; also great grandchildren too many to count.
