David R. Gill

Family and friends will meet to share memories of David R. Gill at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 from the Chapel of Prayer Mausoleum at Dickson County Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation prior to the service and no formal funeral procession. Mr. Gill died September 21, 2023 at his home.
Born in Cheatham County, David was the son of the late Ervin and Ettie Osborne Gill. He was a hard worker all his life, farming on the land he loved while driving a “big rig” full-time for Oman Construction Company. He had the distinction of driving over a million miles without an accident. David was a member of the Church of Christ and loved his family. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his wife, Katrina England Gill; a daughter, Marsha Lynn Gill; a sister, Helen Dozier; and by two brothers, Raymond Gill and Hollis Gill.
Survivors include a sister Dorothy Hunter of White Bluff and several nieces and nephews and in-laws.
