She was born February 27, 1969, in Memphis, Tennessee to Johnie and Marilyn Woodard. Amy loved her family and her friends dearly. She also had a passion for animals and the ocean. She grew up in Dickson, TN, graduated from DCHS in 1987, and then earned a degree in psychology from Lipscomb University. She taught special education in the Dickson and Franklin school systems before moving to Florida in 2005. She formed friendships all along the way and cherished their time together and the bonds created.
Amy is preceded in death by her father Johnie Ezell Woodard. She is survived by her mother Marilyn Harwell Woodard; her two brothers Mark Woodard (Jen) of Johnson City, TN, and Scott Woodard (Karon) of Dickson, TN; two aunts Betty Taylor and Martha Carvell (Terry); and several nieces and nephews.
